Changes are common during supplement development and repeat production. A formula adjustment, packaging substitution, label revision, or testing update should be evaluated as a controlled project change so the buyer knows what was affected and which approvals must be repeated.
What changed, why did it change, and which version was used before and after the change? Does the change require a new sample, updated artwork, revised specification, additional testing, or fresh approval? Are any customer-facing statements now inconsistent with the approved record?
Keep the previous version available for traceability, but clearly mark which version is current. Do not approve a replacement document simply because its filename looks newer. Match the formula, label, package, and quality records before releasing the project.
